About Us
MMLJ Christian Gifts was founded by two Christian friends who began carrying a small selection of Christian gifts in their home decor gift shop. While both were concerned that the response might be negative to adding these Christian items in such a secular store among the other home decor and gift items, the friends decided it offered a chance to evangelize -- even quietly -- in their daily lives. The two friends were surprised to find customers responded well to this line of Christian gifts. Soon, the pair decided to create a small store within the store called MMLJ Christian Gifts based on the four gospels and the followers of Jesus who were our first evangelicals: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Since the word "gospel" comes from an Old English word that meant "good tale" or "good news," the pair believes the combination of the name MMLJ Christian Gifts and the philosphy of spreading the good news was a special match and helped define how they began selling Christian Gifts.
