Christian Baby Crib Medals
In the early founding of the Church, Christians often used trinkets and symbols to recognize each other as followers of Christ. One tradition that developed in 2 A.D. was the development of medals. Medals have been found displaying the image of Peter and Paul and were used to help identify one Christian to another. The wide-spread practice of medals occured in the 16th century and medals were often placed on baby's cribs to help give the innocent child "an armour of Christ." Such practices continue and MMLJ is pleased to present a selection of Christian Baby Crib Medals.
